Russia Aligns With Syria
Not only has Russia aligned with Iran and Iraq, but she has also befriended the Syrian President, Bashar al- Assad! Today, Russia began airstrikes in Syria, but the U.S. is concerned over this and believes Russia's target is something other than ISIS.

This week's newsletter is chock full of good info! For instance I have added Messianic Prophecies to the False Messiah section. Each week I will highlight a Messianic Prophecy and from the first century evidence prove that Jesus is the only one who could ever fulfill the ancient prophecy.
I have also added to the Abomination of Desolation section. Many don't realize, but the Temple Institute is making headway in rebuilding the Jewish Temple, so each week I will highlight one of the sacred vessels that is ready and waiting for the Temple to be rebuilt.
Another thing that I have added is under the False Prophets section. Each week, I will highlight three questions to ask to help you determine if someone is a false prophet.
Let me know what you think! I would love to hear from you.

As I was reading the Psalms, I found myself doing a little research about olives & olive trees today. Yep..I can't seem to escape the plant life theme, and I've discovered that God often speaks to me through themes. For example, late last year, I was drawn to the theme of overcoming, and I even wrote a book titled: You-the Overcomer, but as the Jewish New Year has begun, I have found myself focusing a lot on the subject of gardening, trees, and plant life- even though I do NOT have a green thumb!
So this morning I realized I needed a little more information about the olive tree to help me truly understand what the Psalmist meant when he declared, "I am like a green olive tree in the house of God." Even though I don't like olives, I like the imagery that the Psalmist paints when he said these words. But after reading this verse, I began to wonder why a King would want to be like an olive tree in the first place. So I set out to find an acceptable answer, and I learned some things about olive trees, and its fruit, that I want to pass along:
What Does the Bible Teach About Olive Trees?
After reading the above lists, it's easy to understand why David would call himself a green olive tree in the house of God. Green represents life, and the olive tree represents beauty, fruitfulness, richness, and even long life. David understood the value of this tree, and he chose his words carefully when he made his declaration. Israel's beloved king wanted nothing more than to live forever before the Eternal King, and he chose the olive tree to express his heart's desire.
What about you? Would you like to be like a green olive tree in the house of God? I know I would. So let me leave you with a simple prayer from the Psalms:

I've posted on this topic before, but here I go again. Sorry, I'm on my soap box today....
Recently, Ann Coulter, made some rather disparaging remarks about Jews, and as a Christian I must address what she said. Let's begin with the cussing part first:
After the recent debates, Ann, a popular, conservative "Christian" felt the need to respond by tweeting her scandalous remarks which were also seasoned with the F*** word. By the way, do you realize that a Christian's words are to be "seasoned with grace?" Somehow this truth escaped Ann because her words were full of venom!!!! Yes, Yes, I know, no one's perfect, right? But this is the thing, born again Christians should be striving for perfection. How can I make such a bold statement? Basically, I'm quoting Jesus who also said:
“Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48)."
No pressure in that command, right? So what does it mean to be perfect? Well, the Greek word for perfect (used by Jesus in this verse) means: complete, human integrity, virtue, mature, perfect, finished...ugh yeah it pretty much means that the bar for those who claim allegiance to Jesus Christ is set very high. So let me ask you a question, is it mature for a grown "Christian" woman to use such a foul word? Does this show a woman of virtue, a woman who is being perfected by Christ, or a woman who is seeking to finish the Christian race with her head held high? Of course not. If Ann is going to continue claiming allegiance to Jesus Christ, then she needs to know what her Bible says about foul language:
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29).
Ann, has a great responsibility to prove that she is more than just a political, nominal Christian:
But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was (James 1:22-24).
And, Ann needs to know that a day of judgment is coming, and she(and everyone else) will be asked to give an account for every careless word ever spoken:
But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned (Matthew 12:36-37)."
O.K. so if you have a habit (like Miss Coulter) of using foul language, you need to STOP and confess your sin because He is faithful & just to forgive you of all your sins & to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Now let's talk about what else Miss Ann Coulter had to say. She didn't just use inappropriate language, but she displayed her antisemitism for the world to see. Unfortunately, antisemitism is not new to the Gentile church, and almost 2,000 years ago, the Apostle Paul had to address this growing problem when he wrote these words:
I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says... (Romans 11:1-2a).
So this is what I would say if I had Ann's ear:
Did you not get the memo about Jesus being a Jew? Obviously not so let me clear this up for you: The One you are claiming to follow was born in Israel, and He is a Jew first. Please immediately open your Bible (that dusty book on your bookshelf) and read Romans Chapter 11. You need to know that being a Christian and a Jew/Israel hater is not compatible with Christianity. God loves His chosen ones, and He loves Israel. Please do not forget this ever again.
A Jew/Israel Loving Christ Follower
So, let me end my soap box by YELLING this admonition to anyone who will listen:
Christians need to get back to the Bible, stop their cursing, and pray for Israel & the Jews immediately !!!!!
By the way, God will bless you for blessing Israel, but He will also curse you for cursing Israel, and I don't want to be cursed...how bout you?
So will you join me in praying for Israel and for Ann Coulter too:
I am so thankful that You have not abandoned Your people because You are a covenant keeping God. Lord, I pray for Israel's safety, and I pray for the Shalom of Jerusalem. Father, open the eyes of Israel to see Messiah Yeshua and to say "Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai" Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Father, I ask that you would change Ann's heart and help her to see just how much You love the Jewish people and the Jewish nation.
B'Shem Yeshua HaMashiach- Amen!
O.K. so the last part of the title should read:
Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants thou hast perfected praise (Matthew 21:16).
What a nice scripture, right? But today, the littlest of my little people has been a real handful! There was no praise from my lips (or hers) just now- only sighing (from me) and eye rolling (once again-from me). On one hand, my princess is adorable, sweet, funny, and super cuddly, but on the other hand she is also demanding, unthankful, dramatic, and very unreasonable! Unfortunately, I just witnessed “the other hand.” In one of my little love's Academy Award winning performances, she told me she stopped loving me. Don’t worry. My feelings weren’t hurt. For I’ve heard those words before. Mama bear has thick skin (sometimes). But it’s what I said to her in return ( “Oh so you only love me when I’m doing what you want?”) that caused me to pause and reflect.
As soon as those words came out of my mouth, it was like someone put on the brakes, and I heard the Lord say those same words back to me: “Oh so you only love me when I’m doing what you want?” Wow! Yeah, I was, and still am convicted, and I’m also guilty of conditional love. What about you? Have you ever heard yourself say the following to God?
If this (insert whatever here) doesn’t happen, I will stop going to church
If this (insert whatever here) doesn’t go my way, maybe God isn’t real
If this (insert whatever here) doesn’t happen, I will turn my back on God
If this (insert whatever here) does happen, I will serve God more faithfully
If this (insert whatever here) does go my way, then God is real
If this (insert whatever here) does happen, I will start going to church
Does any of the above sound familiar? Maybe you haven’t said the exact words, but you get the point. And I’ll be real honest with you: I’m guilty of loving God with conditions! My conditional love wasn’t always obvious (to me) but it became glaringly obvious when my daughter was born 10 weeks early. Let me share with you the short story:
In a small period of time, my comfy little world was turned upside down. At 30 weeks pregnant, I gave birth to my little girl. She only weighed 2 lbs. 12 oz. and needed a ventilator to help her breathe. For the next 8 weeks, the NICU became my home away from home. And even though my princess spent 2 months in the NICU, she bounced back like a rock star, but I didn’t. As a matter of fact, I felt like my world shattered. Everything fell apart, and I mean (it felt like) everything. I quit my job, our finances suffered a major blow, we lost our home, and to top it off I had some health scares. I didn’t think it was fair what I had to go through, and to top it off I felt invisible and unloved.
I had no idea that this storm had a purpose, but God did, and He knew just how to put me back together again.
Never Forget- You Are God’s Garden!
If you read my recent blog about gardening, then you know that God is a master botanist, and you are His garden. Like most untended gardens, though, I had become full of weeds and sly foxes. Those garden invaders were choking life and truth right out of me. Jesus spoke about this very thing when He said:
Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up;
1. Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
2. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them;
3. But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold (Matthew 13:3-8).
So, let me ask you, "How is your garden growing?" Not sure? Ask yourself these questions:
1. In the beginning were you passionate about God- even seeing quick growth, but when a trial or storm came your way, did you bolt from the Kingdom of God?
2. Are you struggling with bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, sin, shame, anger, etc? If so, then weeds have invaded your garden!
3. Are you bringing forth the fruit of the Spirit (peace, love, joy, long suffering, etc)? And when trials come (they will come), do you commit to growing deeper in God’s word? Do you attack the trial with prayer and fasting?
Five years ago, in the midst of a storm, I found myself wanting. It was then that I realized my greatest fault: My love was based on blessings. I found that I lacked depth and staying power. Today I look back at that trial by fire, and I still cower at the thought of going through something like that again. But, I learned many things: My roots were dying and needed the water of the Word, and when I began to cling to God’s word like a lifeline in storm tossed waters, I found new strength. When I began to pray in the Spirit, and with understanding, long suffering made sense to me. And when I began to fast from food (and other things), peace & security found a home in my garden. Listen, when you commit to these three "super powers": Bible study, praying, and fasting, then your garden invaders will have to flee.
Oh & Time Travel Helps!
Do you remember the story of Job? If not, hop in the DeLorean and let me refresh your memory: Thousands of years ago, Job and his dear wife lost everything, including the lives of their children. But their suffering was not without purpose. For it revealed their character & staying power. On one hand, Job’s wife had weak faith (me too) and probably even yelled the following words at her husband:
“Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!”
Job, on the other hand, was in this race for the long run. He was committed to seeing a glorious garden unfold from the ashes. And his reply, so long ago, reveal the secrets of his heart:
But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips (Job 2:9-10).
Like the Jobs, maybe you are feeling storm tossed and battered by life? Do you feel unloved, unwanted, and invisible? If so, you are not alone:
Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are (1 Peter 5:9).
Knowing others are going through similar trials isn’t always helpful, and it won’t numb your pain. But, and this is something I learned in my own journey, maybe God doesn’t want to numb your pain. As a matter of fact, maybe He wants you to feel the sorrows of this life more and become a conduit of compassion to others. I know that's not what you want to hear, but if we are to become mature in the faith then we need to hear the hard stuff too. When I was in Bible College one of my professors always said: “Your pain will become your ministry.” At 20 something years old, that sounded great to me then, but I didn’t realize that my former, sinful past wasn’t the only pain I was destined to go through. I was naive and didn't understand that putting my faith in Jesus Christ meant that I willingly accepted both blessing and adversity. That lesson took time to learn. However, I did finally learn the value of lifelines. And if you will cling to the lifelines of God's word, prayer, & fasting, then supernatural strength will be perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Beloved, today you need to know that it’s o.k. to fall apart because God is perfectly able to put you back together again:
But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make (Jeremiah 18:4).
Prayer of Agreement:
Will you join me in praying this scripture over your life today (by the way there is power in agreement):
Confess the Word:
But now, O Lord You are our Father, we are the clay, and you are our potter. And all of us are the work of Your hand (Isaiah 64:8).
Apply the Word:
Overcomer, do you realize that you are My special creation, and I don’t give up until I have perfected the things that concern you? - Abba Father
Pray the Word:
Father, You are the Master Potter & I am the work of Your hands. Lord, help me to rest while you make something beautiful out of my storm-tossed life. Help me to trust that You are making me into a new creation. In Jesus’ name-Amen.

Once again, L'Shana Tova!!!
On G-d's calendar, today is the 4th of Tishrei in the year of our Lord 5776! Right now, Jews throughout the world have entered a time called the Days of Awe! This goyah (Gentile girl) has always loved that phrase, and if you're not sure what this means, let me explain: From Rosh HaShanah (the New Year) until Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) there are 10 days set aside on God's calendar for repentance. It is during this time, that Jews believe their fate for the coming year is sealed and their names are either entered into the Book of Life or the Book of Death.
This week in the synagogues, Rabbis will be reading the Torah portion from the book of Deuteronomy. Most gentiles don't realize this, but deep within the pages of this ancient text, is a spiritual lesson that still applies to everyone who claims to love and serve the Almighty! So let's take a closer look & listen to what the Lord would say to His people:
And the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, your days are approaching [for you] to die. Call Joshua and stand in the Tent of Meeting, and I will inspire him. So Moses and Joshua went, and stood in the Tent of Meeting. And the Lord appeared in the Tent, in a pillar of cloud. The pillar of cloud stood at the entrance to the Tent And the Lord said to Moses: Behold, you are [about to] lie with your forefathers, and this nation will rise up and stray after the deities of the nations of the land, into which they are coming. And they will forsake Me and violate My covenant which I made with them. And My fury will rage against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will befall them, and they will say on that day, 'Is it not because our God is no longer among us, that these evils have befallen us?' And I will hide My face on that day, because of all the evil they have committed, when they turned to other deities. And now, write for yourselves this song, and teach it to the Children of Israel. Place it into their mouths, in order that this song will be for Me as a witness for the children of Israel (Deut. 31:14-19)."
Israel's Genetic Flaw (And Ours Too!)
Thousands of years ago, the Almighty revealed to Moses (a type of Messiah) Israel's fatal flaw: She had a genetic predisposition for Heart Disease. And this disease became glaringly obvious as Israel sought out other lovers (gods) to satisfy her needs. However, she was warned about her tendencies and even told the future ramifications, yet, like most children she continued to follow the longings of her deceitful heart. Sadly, Israel soon found out that there is always a grave consequence for trusting a sick heart:
And My fury will rage against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will befall them... Deuteronomy 31:17
When Israel gave in to her longings, she lost fellowship with the Creator & ultimately confusion and dismay took hold. G-d's people even found themselves questioning the very One who once took them by the hand and led them out of slavery:
And they will say on that day, 'Is it not because our God is no longer among us, that these evils have befallen us?... Deut. 31:17
Sick Hearts Always Reject Truth!
Like most people, Israel was blind to her greatest weakness. And years after Moses warned his people about their true nature, the prophet Isaiah foretold that Israel would even reject the very One they claimed to long for:
Who has believed our message?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
And like a root out of parched ground;
He has no stately form or majesty
That we should look upon Him,
Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.He was despised and forsaken of men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. (Isaiah 53:3)
Israel's sick heart was never more obvious than the day the nation shunned the Suffering Servant who was destined to become their Passover Lamb:
But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed (Isaiah 53:5)
Israel's Heart Will be Healed & Her People Will Be Saved!
As the Jewish people enter into the Days of Awe and repentance, let's pray that their eyes are opened to the true Messiah. The Apostle Paul had this to say about his people:
For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB.” (The Words of the Jewish Apostle Paul in the New Testament book of Romans 11:25-26)
Long before Messiah stepped out of eternity and into history, the prophet Zechariah foretold that his people would kill Messiah (by piercing Him), but at the end of the age He would come again, & this time Israel would truly REPENT:
They will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn (Zech. 12:10).
The days leading up to Yom Kippur should be days of true repentance, but that can't happen without accepting the true Messiah! And if the people of G-d are to really learn from history & this week's Torah portion, they need to heed the following:
The good news? God has not abandoned His people & He even promised to give them a new heart:
“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more (Jeremiah 31:31-34)."
So how can Israel's heart sickness be healed and her sins be forgiven? The answer is found in the very thing that gives us life: The Blood!
And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22).
As Israel goes through the religious motions of preparing for the Day of Atonement, let's pray that she recognizes her Messiah and accepts Yeshua as the Passover Lamb! Then & only then will Israel's heart be forever changed!
B'shem Yeshua HaMashiach!
We are passionate about Bible prophecy & tracking the birth pains until the rapture of the church! Some call this “doom and gloom” but many don’t realize that Jesus promised a blessing for watchfulness:
Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them. Whether he comes in the second watch, or even in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those slaves. (Luke 12:36-37).
With this in mind, I am adding a PDF newsletter to my site monitoring weekly worldwide events.
By the way, if you belong to Jesus you don't need to be afraid. We are living in exciting times (for the church) and fearful times (for the world)! But followers of Christ should look forward to His return and boldly proclaim it until the church is gone! Don't let anyone tell you differently!!
